Sometimes, when I am working, or not working, or walking down the street, or sitting in a chair, or taking a crap in an alleyway, I start to think about how I would react in the worst situations. Like, I’m at work, and all of the sudden a disgruntled ex-employee bursts in and starts shooting everybody. Or maybe I am taking a crap, and my next door neighbor randomly starts (terribly) singing “I Will Always Love You” by Whitney Houston (this really does happen sometimes)!
What would I do? Would I spring into action, and save my coworkers? Would I cry and bawl in a corner, until they reached me and ended my already seemingly endless life? Who knows? Who cares? I’m not some paranoid nutjob… wait… yes, yes, I totally am.
Well here is a book for us, called “100 Deadly Skills: The SEAL Operative’s Guide To Evading Pursuers, Evading Capture, And Surviving Any Deadly Situation”. Long title, but what’s a title when we are talking about life or death?
The book covers surviving any situation that you might actually encounter, from mass shootings, to being locked in a trunk. Oh and it is written by an ex Navy SEAL, so it’s pretty legit. Plus it’s only 10 bucks on amazon so I am probably going to buy it right now!
