Bitcoin Hardware Wallet: I Don’t Get This Thing

723

I am at an unfortunate age where technology sort of scares me. I don’t understand half of these wacky fads that are coming out. I grew up in a time of rotary house phones, there were only 13 channels on the TV, and hell, we didn’t even have the internet until I was like 14. That was back when AOL was still a thing!

So, I think it is understandable that I don’t understand, nor do I care about this thing called Bitcoin. From what I gather, it is some sort of online currency that you can use to make purchases. It’s not that I don’t understand that concept, but how is that any different than having a debit card and a Paypal account?

Anyways, this is a hardware wallet for your Bitcoin money. It comes in the form of a piece of hardware that connects to your device via a usb port. It looks similar to a small external hard drive, but its sole purpose is to keep track of your Bitcoin expenses and balances.

Or, you know, you could just carry your money like a normal person.
